As Sales Development Manager you will be responsible for the complete sales process of new accounts from lead follow-up to closing business. 

You follow up with small and medium business (SMB) leads that are generated by marketing and partner activities to connect and build relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision makers, understanding the business needs and problems they are trying to solve and determining where DynamicWeb’s All-in-One business platform can help them with solutions. In partnership with pre-sales, technical resources, and in some cases implementation partners, you take a consultative selling approach to present DynamicWeb solutions to qualified SMB customers and position competitive advantages to overcome all customer objections, gain buy-in from decision makers, and win deals to hit new sales goals. After the project is sold, you continue to nurture your customer relationships to ensure successful handoff to delivery and account management teams.  

The position requires strong execution skills, a systematic approach to follow-up and key contact engagement, and the ability to work strategically as well as tactically with potential SMB customers. The ideal candidate understands the Commerce and Product Information Management (PIM) spaces well, has a good understanding and passion for technology, and is obsessed with helping our customers succeed with their digital transformation.

Your responsibilities

  • Win new deals. Throughout your day, you will juggle following up with new and qualified leads and will plan and execute on relevant activities to drive the lead forward in the sales process toward a win.
  • Work closely with our highly skilled delivery team and implementation partners to further advance the prospect in the sales process. This includes collaborating on rough estimates, discovery processes, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Set accurate project delivery expectations to ensure customer success during and after implementation.
  • Participate in tradeshows, events, and in-person prospect meetings and workshops.   

Experience

  • 5 years of tech consultative sales experience - preferably from the B2B Commerce or similar industry within the SMB market  
  • Proven success with sales processes dealing with multiple stakeholders, high complexity and spanning a longer period
  • Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Must be able to work independently in a complex and fast-paced environment, prioritize, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
  • Experience with CRM tools, preferably Dynamics 365
  • Proven track record of successfully working from home
  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Environment

  • Work is typically performed in employee’s home office
  • Regular travel up to 20%. Evening, weekend, and extended hours as needed to participate in tradeshows and events
  • Service clients across North America with a vast network of international partners that span multiple time zones
